Landmark Group's Race 2 re:Cycle

An epic cycling adventure is about to descend upon the Midwest and it will be hosted by Landmark Group! Created to build awareness and help make the city of Omaha synonymous with both cycling and recycling, this family-friendly event will include the longest tri-state relay in the Midwest, a family fun ride and Omaha's only youth tricycle race. Proceeds will benefit Habitat for Humanity of Omaha.

All participants and volunteers will be eligible to win numerous prizes that will be awarded throughout the day for games and contest. Thank you to the several Landmark Group employees who are already registered to ride or volunteer! Without your help and support a community event of this magnitude would not be possible! Volunteers will receive t-shirts and be entered into a drawing to win a super sweet prize thanks to Greenstreet Cycles, our premier bike shop sponsor. And yes, we will also have food available for our volunteers. Landmark Group will also be hosting an Expo on the ever so lucky Friday the 13th from 4:00 - 8:00 pm at Barley's. Current exhibitors include Little Red Barn Beef (one of Dave's favorite food suppliers who will be donating all organic beef jerky for our aid stations) and Great Harvest Bread. Every week I get to go out to Great Harvest to pick up a bread donation. I highly suggest everyone visit this store! I am almost certain I could eat my body weight in their fresh cinnamon chip bread.

On more reason to sign up...our newest sponsor Quality Brands of Omaha (Anheuser-Busch) will be at both the Expo and Post Award ceremony. Food and entertainment will also be provided at the Family Fun Zone on Saturday.
